József Raduly (1927–2022)
József Raduly, the oldest Hungarian national football player, passed away at 94 years of age. Sources close to the family informed Nemzeti Sport of the news, and Vasas also confirmed it on its Facebook page.

Vasas writes that József Raduly fell into an eternal sleep on Monday morning after a short illness.

József Raduly was born on May 6, 1927, in Budapest. As a young man, he played for Kőbányai TC and Fűszért, and for Gamma as an adult. But in December 1944, he was called up to the army, and in May 1945, he was a prisoner of war in the Soviet Union. After six years, at the age of 24, he returned home in December 1951.

He played for Postás (1952–53) before transferring to Vasas (1953–62), with which he played 133 games. He is a Hungarian champion (spring 1957), bronze medalist (1959–60), Hungarian People's Republic Cup (MNK) winner (1955), Cup Winners' Cup semifinalist (1957–58), and Mitropa Cup winner (1956, 1957).

He also played twice for the Hungarian national team. He was the oldest living Hungarian national team football player and the last of the living who played with Ferenc Puskás in the squad.

After retiring from his playing career, as a side job, he coached mainly at Csepel Autó, ÉGSZÖV MEDOSZ, and Szigetszentmiklós, as well as at Vasas and BKV Előre's youth team.
