Sorra álltak meg vagy lassultak le az autók a hétvégi Bahreini Nagydíj eleve eső miatt csúsztatott rajtja előtti felvezető körben. Aztán jött egy nagyjából egyórás, információínséges várakozás, majd pedig egy összességében jó futam, amelynek végén Max Verstappen és Kimi Antonelli örülhetett.
