Hungarian footballer Miklós Lendvai, who was capped 23 times, passed away a week ago at the age of 47. Not only did his youth team ZTE but also his former Belgium club Charleroi remembered him with a giant banner at the weekend.
Miklós Lendvai played in 34 league games for Charleroi between 2001 and 2003 (he had previously also played for Verbr Geel and Beerschot in Belgium). The club's fans commemorated 47-year-old Miklós Lendvai with a giant banner at Sunday's match against Sint-Truiden.
ZTE supporters also remembered Lendvai on Saturday at the match against Fehérvár and even held a "memorial procession" before the game.
